Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa and executes an aggressive tribal swarm and aristocrats strategy. The game plan focuses on developing efficient Zombie creatures and mana rocks in the opening turns, deploying Gisa on turn 5, and leveraging her activated ability to convert high-power creatures into double-digit 2/2 Zombie tokens. Tribal lords such as Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Cemetery Reaper grant lethal power, toughness, deathtouch, and menace to overwhelm blockers. In parallel, death triggers from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Bontu's Monument drain opponents whenever tokens are created or sacrificed. Strong card draw engines like Undead Augur and Cryptbreaker maintain momentum, while extensive recursion cards including Lord of the Undead and Gravecrawler allow rapid recovery from opposing board wipes. The deck aims to assemble a critical mass by turn 6 and eliminate the table through combat and direct life loss by turn 8.
