Deck overview

Sonic the Hedgehog leads an aggressive Jeskai tempo deck that blends haste and flash tribal mechanics with scaling +1/+1 counters and Treasure generation. The primary strategy curve establishes early flash and haste threats on turns 1 through 3 before casting Sonic on turn 4. Because Sonic possesses native haste and triggers immediately on attack, the deck immediately begins distributing +1/+1 counters across the board while generating Treasure whenever its creatures take damage. By turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat state by deploying evasive enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer, or asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye that leave its modified attackers untouched. Midgame card draw engines and Treasure multipliers sustain mana and card velocity to push through blockers. The deck finishes games around turn 7 through wide unblockable damage, burn triggers, or an Akroma's Will alpha strike, backed by efficient countermagic and tutorable protective equipment.
