Deck overview

This is an Orzhov lifegain and aristocrats deck built around Sorin of House Markov. The commander can transform after the deck gains 3 life in a turn, then make Food tokens and convert life gain into incremental pressure. Cards such as Marauding Blight-Priest, Sanguine Bond, Cruel Celebrant, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim reward life gain or creature deaths, while Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, Bartolomé del Presidio, and Hidden Stockpile provide sacrifice outlets. The deck has a useful removal package and several sweepers, but it lacks tutors, stack interaction, and protection. Its ordinary engine is assembled around turns 6–7 and produces advantage over time rather than a reliable must-answer threat. Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless offer late-game reach, but the list does not reliably generate or protect the mana needed for a table kill. It is best suited to a slower casual table where incremental life swings and creature attrition matter.
