Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nicol Bolas, the Ravager leads a Grixis discard-matters deck that combines hand disruption with wheels and punish effects, then reanimates or steals haymakers to close. The front face is cast early to strip cards; the back face supplies card advantage, removal, and repeatable recursion once the table's hands are empty. Secondary lines use Entomb/Reanimate to put Jin-Gitaxias or Archon of Cruelty into play, and Cabal Coffers powers large Torment or Exsanguinate. Kefka, Court Mage acts as a hidden commander for the discard side. The most practical win is two wheel effects with Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Liliana's Caress in play.
