Deck overview

This deck leverages Kresh the Bloodbraided at the helm of a Jund sacrifice strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Kresh by Turn 4, followed by symmetric sacrifice effects such as Fleshbag Marauder, Plaguecrafter, and Accursed Marauder. These edicts clear opposing blockers while rapidly feeding +1/+1 counters to Kresh. Once Kresh reaches lethal power on Turn 5, the deck transitions into closing the game through evasive combat damage, Tainted Strike, or direct burn via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Ziatora, the Incinerator, and Fling. Supporting card advantage engines like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, Deathreap Ritual, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare keep resources flowing, while Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Dictate of Erebos maintain severe creature attrition across the table.
