Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu combat deck commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy focuses on multiplying attack triggers to generate vast creature armies and overwhelming damage. Early turns focus on ramping out color fixing and deploying Isshin on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck deploys token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar or Hanweir Garrison, which produce double the attacking bodies each combat step. On Turn 5, damage amplifiers like Shared Animosity, Blade Historian, and Impact Tremors turn these tokens into lethal damage bursts. The deck runs efficient Mardu removal to handle opposing threats and relies on protection spells like Boros Charm and Flawless Maneuver to maintain board presence. While vulnerable to mass bounce and exile board wipes, the list maintains high redundancy and can rebuild quickly.
