Deck overview

This Temur deck commands an aggressive Dragon tribal engine led by Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy focuses on accelerating through an extensive suite of ramp spells on turns one through four to cast Ureni on Turn 5. Ureni immediately searches the top eight cards of the library upon entering and attacking, cheating enormous Dragons directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. High-synergy payoffs such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen duplicate threats and grant double strike, while enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy grant haste and card draw. The deck protects its board through efficient countermagic and reactive protection spells like Tyvar's Stand, while leveraging versatile removal to keep opposing boards clear. By chaining combat triggers and overwhelming aerial power, the deck closes games swiftly between turns six and seven.
