Deck overview

This competitive mono-blue artifact combo deck uses Emry, Lurker of the Loch as a rapid self-milling commander and graveyard recursion engine. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Emry on Turn 1 or 2, leveraging fast mana and artifact affinity. On Turn 3, the deck deploys an untap engine such as Mirran Spy or an artifact loop with Lotus Petal to generate infinite mana and storm. From there, it draws the entire library using recurring baubles or cantrips and closes the game immediately via Aetherflux Reservoir laser bursts or lethal Walking Ballista pings. Backed by a premier suite of free countermagic, artifact tutors, and redundant win conditions like Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal, the deck executes with high velocity, resilience, and format-ceiling consistency.
