Deck overview

This list is a competitive Grixis combo deck engineered to assemble compact, instant-speed win conditions at format-ceiling velocity. While Fire Lord Azula provides explosive combat value by generating {R}{R} and copying spells cast during attack steps, the deck's primary objective is to resolve Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Supported by a dense suite of 0–1 CMC mana rocks and unconditional tutors, the deck reliably attempts a win on Turn 3. When contested, it seamlessly pivots into secondary lines featuring Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze, or draws into game-ending card volume through Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, or The One Ring. Free countermagic and targeted removal ensure protection during combo turns while disrupting opposing fast wins.
