Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist and Hargilde, Kindly Runechanter to command an artifact-centric token swarm and burn strategy. The deck accelerates through cost reducers and artifact ramp on early turns, deploying resilient token engines like Sai, Master Thopterist, Simulacrum Synthesizer, and Thousand Moons Smithy by turn 4. Once a wide board of artifact tokens is established, the deck converts token creation into direct table-wide damage with Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Molten Gatekeeper, or overwhelms defenses with Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Akroma's Will. The commanders provide steady utility: Hargilde funds expensive artifact plays, while Bjorna goads dangerous threats and turns excess artifacts into removal. Although vulnerable to mass artifact exile and bounce effects, the deck maintains high redundancy, mass graveyard reanimation via Wake the Past, and flexible interaction to close games reliably by turn 8.
