Deck overview

This is a Golgari Insect tribal deck helmed by Zask, Skittering Swarmlord, built around a graveyard-recursion engine. Zask lets you play lands and cast Insect spells from the graveyard, and whenever another Insect dies, it goes to the bottom of your library and you mill two. The deck leverages this to generate massive value: milling fuels Aatchik, Emerald Radian's token swarm, landfall triggers from Icetill Explorer and Springheart Nantuko, and the primary combo finish of Aatchik, Emerald Radian + Ashnod's Altar + Cauldron of Essence for infinite drain. Secondary wins include Triumph of the Hordes infect with a wide Insect board, Grist, the Hunger Tide's ultimate, and Season of Loss. The deck is a midrange value engine that grinds card advantage through the graveyard before closing with an infinite loop or a lethal swarm.
