Deck overview

This deck pairs Ingris Stingerquill with low-cost Phyrexian infect creatures to turn every attack declaration into global poison application. Because Ingris causes attacking creatures to deal 1 noncombat damage directly to each opponent, an attacking creature with infect grants a poison counter to all three opponents simultaneously, completely bypassing blockers. The deck supplements this mechanic with damage enhancers like Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage and Hawkeye, Young Avenger, which increase each trigger to 2 or more poison counters per attacker. Once poison is distributed, proliferate spells like Drown in Ichor, Infectious Inquiry, and Contagion Clasp compound the poison total without requiring risky combat trades. A solid suite of black and red removal keeps dangerous opposing commanders in check while you close the game on Turn 7. The primary challenge lies in the deck's low defensive protection, making key creatures vulnerable to sweepers.
