Deck overview

This deck is a Naya lands-matter midrange strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph converts all nontoken artifacts into lands and automatically earthbends on each end step, turning lands into resilient 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters and haste. When earthbent creatures die or are exiled, they return to the battlefield tapped, granting strong resistance against sweepers and spot removal. The deck accelerates in the early turns using low-cost mana rocks and land ramp, casts Toph on Turn 4, and compounds board presence using counter engines like Solid Ground and Evolution Sage. High-end landfall payoffs such as Omnath, Locus of Rage, Avenger of Zendikar, and Bumi, Unleashed establish decisive combat pressure by Turn 6. Supported by trample enablers like Badgermole and additional combat phases, the deck reliably overruns all three opponents across two attack cycles by Turn 8.
