Format: Commander

Commander: Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos is a mono-red rotating voltron commander: each upkeep a different player gains control and pumps it, forcing it to attack everyone but you. The deck accelerates this clock with cheap equipment for evasion, protection, and power, and finishes either by converting Alexios's growing power into noncombat damage (Chandra's Ignition + Bulk Up, optionally doubled by Fiendish Duo) or via Repercussion + Blasphemous Act when the table has enough creatures. Kediss and goad effects spread the damage, while Blood Moon/Stranglehold attack mana bases and tutors. The deck is highly commander-centric and has almost no way to recover if Alexios is exiled; it relies on redundant equipment and redirection to keep its voltron plan alive.
