Deck overview

Zilortha, Strength Incarnate is the centerpiece of a Gruul stompy build whose real agenda is early power, not toughness. Zilortha's lethal-damage replacement keeps fragile 7-power attackers alive long enough to attack. The deck accelerates into a discounted Ghalta, Primal Hunger, then uses doubling effects to make combat damage or Chandra's Ignition end the table. The secondary path uses haste and trample from Garruk's Uprising, Rhythm of the Wild, and haste-granting creatures to overrun before opponents develop. Ghalta, Primal Hunger is the hidden focus of the deck: it is the most reliable high-power finisher and the best target for the sacrifice and doubling effects. There is no infinite combo.
