Deck overview

This Abzan deck uses The Necrobloom to convert land drops and graveyard milling into overwhelming board presence and explosive combo finishes. In the early turns, the deck accelerates mana using efficient dorks, land sorceries, and utility creatures like Elvish Reclaimer and Lotus Cobra. Once the commander enters the battlefield, every land card in the graveyard gains dredge 2, turning ordinary draw steps into self-mill engines that generate Plant and Zombie tokens. The deck searches for Cultivator Colossus through diverse creature tutors. Resolving the Colossus triggers a continuous loop of putting lands onto the battlefield and dredging from the graveyard until all lands enter play and the entire library sits in the graveyard. From there, flashback spells like Sevinne's Reclamation and Dread Return deploy Altar of Dementia or Craterhoof Behemoth to eliminate the entire table immediately. Free protection from Sylvan Safekeeper and Ranger-Captain of Eos ensures the winning turn resolves smoothly.
