Deck overview

This deck uses Ratadrabik of Urborg to turn the death of another legendary creature into a 2/2 Zombie copy, then converts deaths into life loss through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, or Bastion of Remembrance. Sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, and Ashnod's Altar provide the conversion engine, while Skullclamp, Village Rites, and Plumb the Forbidden replenish cards. The plan is synergistic but slow to assemble because it needs several distinct roles and has no tutors. Its interaction is stronger than its clock, with efficient creature removal, sweepers, and some graveyard or spell restrictions. The central limitation is that Ratadrabik of Urborg's copies are nonlegendary, so the deck does not create an automatic loop. It usually produces incremental drain and board value rather than a reliable table kill. Protect the commander and preserve enough creatures to sacrifice.
