Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergies with a Voltron Equipment strategy helmed by Giott, King of the Dwarves. Giott's low mana cost and innate double strike provide an immediate, high-leverage carrier for lethal Equipment buffs. The commander's triggered ability converts every Dwarf and Equipment deployment into rummaging card selection, smoothing land drops and filtering toward key payoffs. The deck aims to assemble Giott alongside high-impact weapons such as Colossus Hammer, Two-Handed Axe, or Bearded Axe, bypassing steep equip costs through enablers like Bruenor Battlehammer, Armed and Armored, or Blacksmith's Talent. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5, where a single double-striking connection delivers 22+ lethal commander damage to eliminate a primary threat. It closes out remaining opponents over consecutive combats by Turn 7. While vulnerable to early creature removal and lacking broad stack disruption, the deck maintains resilience through dedicated protection like Boros Charm, ward effects, and independent backup attackers like Gimli of the Glittering Caves.
