Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is piloted by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor, utilizing a unique group-gifting strategy that turns symmetrical token generation into an asymmetric drain engine. By giving opponents tokens via cards like Benevolent Offering, Clackbridge Troll, Hunted Bonebrute, and Akroan Horse, Kambal creates duplicate tapped copies and drains each opponent for 1 life per instance. The deck compounds this incremental damage with aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Suture Priest. Mana development is grounded in hitting land drops steadily toward big swings like Awaken the Erstwhile and Plague of Vermin. Defensive tools such as Combat Calligrapher and Overencumbered direct aggression away from your life total, while Clever Concealment shields the board against opposing sweepers.
