Deck overview

Dain of the Ancient Halls leads a Boros Dwarf tribal Equipment deck that wins through combat amplified by Equipment. The primary plan builds a board of Dwarves, equips a threat for free with Bruenor Battlehammer and Forge Anew, then attacks with Dain who has vigilance and haste and burns each opponent for damage equal to your Dwarf count. Secondary paths go wide with anthems from Thorin, King of Durin's Folk and Bifur, or go tall for a one-shot with Colossus Hammer, Embercleave and double strike from Reyav. Dain is a haste finisher and reach piece, not ramp. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as hidden commander, turning tapped Dwarves into Treasure and tutoring any artifact or Dragon.
