Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment aggro deck led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Dwarf creatures and Equipment in the early turns, then casting Thorin to convert subsequent Dwarf entries into Treasure tokens. Because Thorin grants all other Dwarves +1/+0 for every artifact token controlled, the board's offensive output scales rapidly with each permanent played. Enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Dáin Ironfoot grant double strike, while Thorin Oakenshield provides trample and ward protection. Supported by efficient white-red removal and targeted defensive spells such as And They Shall Know No Fear, the deck applies immense combat pressure starting on Turn 5 and looks to eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps by Turn 7.
