Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis enchantment control strategy commanded by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. It aims to control the pace of the game by attaching debilitating Curses to opponents and goading enemy creatures into mutual destruction. In the early turns, mana rocks accelerate the deployment of Lynde and early goad Auras to deflect incoming attacks. By turn four or five, the deck establishes Curse of Misfortunes to tutor high-impact Curses directly to the battlefield each upkeep. The win condition relies on stacking damage multipliers like Curse of Bloodletting alongside direct life loss from Curse of Thirst and runaway combat threats like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. While the deck possesses strong card advantage and persistent attrition, its complete lack of instant-speed countermagic or stack interaction leaves it vulnerable to fast combos and mass enchantment removal.
