Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Tifa Lockhart as an explosive landfall Voltron commander. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns, deploys Tifa on turn 2, and triggers multiple land entries in a single turn. Because Tifa doubles her power with every land drop and has natural trample, burst ramp spells like Scapeshift and Entish Restoration—alongside fetchlands and equipment such as Blackblade Reforged—rapidly propel her power past the 21-commander-damage threshold. The deck eliminates opponents in sequential combat attacks starting on turn 4, while utilizing a dense suite of cheap, instant-speed protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Tamiyo's Safekeeping to shield Tifa from targeted removal. Land recursion tools such as Ramunap Excavator and Conduit of Worlds ensure steady land drops and resilience against attrition, while alternate beatdown options like Ancient Greenwarden provide backup pressure if the commander is taxed.
