Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro-control strategy led by Tamiyo, Upriser Crowned, designed to seize and protect the monarch while overwhelming opponents through multi-combat sequences. In the early turns, the deck deploys defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Authority of the Consuls alongside mana acceleration to establish a secure board state. Tamiyo enters on turn 5 with flying, double strike, and haste, instantly claiming the monarch and initiating commander damage pressure. From turn 6 onward, the deck leverages redundant extra-combat engines such as Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Bloodthirster, and Aurelia, the Warleader, amplified by high-impact equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden. Mass goad spells like Taunt from the Rampart and Disrupt Decorum force opponents to batter one another while removing potential blockers. Supported by a robust removal suite tutorable with Sunforger and resilient protection spells like Boros Charm, the deck systematically eliminates players over two response cycles.
