Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Big Mana Stompy strategy that commands the ocean depths with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle. The game plan focuses on rapid early acceleration to deploy Arixmethes on Turn 3 as a mana-producing land. By Turn 4, Arixmethes untaps to provide a massive mana jump, powering out high-cost Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents well ahead of standard timing. Asymmetric board wipes like Whelming Wave, Scourge of Fleets, and Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep clear opposing boards while leaving the sea monster armada untouched. The deck wins by trampling over cleared boards with giant creatures and overwhelming pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede. Countermagic and targeted removal protect key windows, while cards like Stormtide Leviathan and Sandwurm Convergence lock opponents out of combat. The deck delivers a consistent mid-game beatdown plan backed by massive card draw and resilient high-toughness threats.
