Greenless Nissa doing green stuff by Dusky90

Format: Commander

Commander: Nissa, Leyline Tamer

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 47

Deck overview

This deck uses Nissa, Leyline Tamer as a repeatable cheat engine to put massive creatures directly from the library onto the battlefield. The mana base and acceleration suite feature dense 1- and 2-mana artifacts, fetchlands, and original duals to cast the 7-mana commander by Turn 5. Once Nissa enters, any land drop draws a card and deploys an overwhelming threat such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or Blightsteel Colossus. Library manipulation spells like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Scroll Rack stack specific haymakers on top of the library to eliminate variance. Alternate cheat spells such as Sneak Attack and Show and Tell provide reliable backup routes if Nissa is removed. Defended by free protection spells and flexible removal, the deck accumulates game-ending board presence over two attack cycles to overwhelm the entire table with combat damage.
