Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck is commanded by The Ur-Dragon, using its Eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells from turn zero. The deck accelerates through low-cost mana dorks, land ramp, and cost-reduction permanents like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy high-impact Dragons starting on Turn 4. Its primary win paths involve generating game-ending combat steps via Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault, or overwhelming the table through combat multipliers like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks. While the deck features explosive card draw through The Ur-Dragon, Garruk's Uprising, and Ancient Silver Dragon, its interaction suite is primarily creature-based fight spells and damage triggers, leaving it somewhat vulnerable to instant-speed combo decks and sweeper effects.
