K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth deck by user5807492

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik turns black mana into life, letting this mono-black deck dump its hand early. The primary plan is to land K'rrik, pay life for the three {B} in Underworld Dreams and Peer into the Abyss, and kill the table in one explosive draw. Secondary paths include draining through Gray Merchant/Exsanguinate, an end-step Necrologia into a huge Citadel chain, and reanimation via Chainer or Rise of the Dark Realms. The commander's lifelink keeps the life-payment plan solvent. There is no hidden commander; the deck is K'rrik-first. Emeritus of Woe is a flexible tutor/creature, but the deck is not built around it.
