Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and focuses on Dragon tribal stompy mechanics. It leverages early ramp and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to cast high-mana flying threats ahead of curve. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates a 5/5 flying token, rapidly doubling the board's offensive footprint. Payoffs such as Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus convert this creature density into immediate burn and lethal combat damage. The deck includes asymmetric damage sweepers like Breath Weapon and Magmaquake that wipe small opposing ground forces while preserving your aerial armada. Although it has limited stack interaction and minimal protection against targeted removal, the deck compensates with substantial redundancy across standalone high-threat Dragons.
