Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats combo deck leverages Yawgmoth, Thran Physician as a card-draw engine, removal outlet, and primary combo piece. The early game focuses on generating disposable token fodder with cards like Bitterblossom and Ophiomancer before resolving Yawgmoth to clear opposing threats and draw through the deck. The primary win condition loops two undying creatures such as Butcher Ghoul and Geralf's Messenger by using Yawgmoth to place -1/-1 counters on each other, resetting their counters while triggering drain effects like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance. Secondary win lines utilize Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar to generate infinite storm and life drain.
