Deck overview

This mono-red spellslinger deck centers on The Scarlet Witch, whose ability reduces the casting cost of instant and sorcery spells with mana value 4 or greater by her power. By boosting her power with cheap Equipment like Trusty Machete and Darksteel Axe or pump spells like Blazing Crescendo, the deck cheats the costs of massive draw, ritual, and burn spells. Discounted draw engines like Inspired Tinkering, Big Score, and Unexpected Windfall dig through the library while producing Treasure tokens. Once critical mana velocity is established through Storm-Kiln Artist, Apex of Power, or Brass's Bounty, the deck copies explosive finishers such as Crackle with Power or Mizzix's Mastery with Repeated Reverberation and Twinferno to burn the entire table in a single turn.
