Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy commanded by Ratadrabik of Urborg. The game plan revolves around exploiting Ratadrabik's ability to turn dying legendary creatures into nonlegendary 2/2 black Zombie token copies. By sacrificing high-impact legends such as Kokusho, the Evening Star, Junji, the Midnight Sky, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Elenda, the Dusk Rose to outlets like Altar of Dementia and Ghoulcaller Gisa, the deck multiplies death and enter-the-battlefield triggers. These triggers are further amplified by token and death doublers including Teysa Karlov, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Anointed Procession. The deck controls creature boards via Grave Pact and board wipes, while sustaining life totals through aristocrat drains.
