Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Kaza, Roil Chaser. It focuses on deploying low-cost Wizards to turn Kaza into a massive generic mana discount engine. In the early turns, the deck develops cheap Wizards such as Baral, Chief of Compliance, Stormcatch Mentor, and Harmonic Prodigy. Once Kaza is operational on Turn 4, the pilot taps Kaza to cast enormous card-draw spells like Mathemagics and Pull from Tomorrow at a deep discount, rapidly refilling the hand. In the mid-to-late game (Turns 5–6), the deck converts high mana counts from Mana Geyser, cost reducers, and Kaza's ability into game-ending burn spells. The primary win condition is a multikicked Comet Storm that burns all three opponents simultaneously, backed by alternate finishers like Finale of Promise, Sorcerer Class, and Docent of Perfection. While vulnerable to board wipes that reset its creature count, the deck maintains high redundancy, efficient countermagic, and strong backup mana engines.
