Deck overview

This deck is a hybrid Elf and Faerie tribal deck led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant in Sultai colors. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient low-mana mana dorks and evasive Faeries in the early turns, establishing commander deployment on Turn 4. Maralen converts every entering tribal creature into card advantage by exiling opposing cards and casting them for free. The deck leverages heavy combat-damage card draw from engines like Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Bident of Thassa, and Coastal Piracy to refill the hand and expand the battlefield. Critical pressure arrives on Turn 6 through mass token generators like Elven Ambush and Notorious Throng or tribal overrun effects like Elvish Warmaster. While the deck generates immense mana and card velocity through its creature synergies, it remains susceptible to creature sweepers due to limited defensive countermagic.
