Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper lands-matter Voltron-control list helmed by Dakkon Blackblade, whose power and toughness equal the number of lands you control. The deck ramps with fetchlands, Land Tax, and attack-trigger equipment, then drops Dakkon as a recastable closer. Blackblade Reforged and Sword of Feast and Famine push him into one-shot range, while Hatred and Tainted Strike convert any connecting swing into a commander-damage or poison kill. The rest of the 99 is a tuned control shell: Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Esper Sentinel, and The One Ring keep cards flowing, and a free-counter plus turn-protection package (Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, Grand Abolisher, Conqueror's Flail) shepherds the combat step. There are no infinite combos; wins come from locking the stack and eliminating opponents one combat at a time. Korlash, Heir to Blackblade is the backup land-scaled body if Dakkon is unavailable.
