RETIRED Ramos, Dragon Engine by Undenounced

Format: Commander

Commander: Ramos, Dragon Engine

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon midrange deck helmed by Ramos, Dragon Engine. The plan is straightforward: ramp into a critical mass of flying Dragons, then overwhelm the table through combat. Lathliss, Dragon Queen turns every nontoken Dragon into a 5/5 flier, Savage Ventmaw refuels enormous mid-combat mana, and Dragonmaster Outcast plus Exalted Sunborn build a widening aerial board. Ramos himself is a late-game mana battery-cast enough colored spells to stock five +1/+1 counters, then crack him for ten mana of any colors to dump the rest of your hand. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by flying combat damage, occasionally punctuated by Steel Hellkite's activated sweep or Dragon Mage wheels. The many Omen-faced Dragons give flexible early interaction or ramp while still counting toward the tribal critical mass later.
