Deck overview

This mono-green kindred deck focuses on the Bear creature type, led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing a small pack of efficient Bears, and casting Beorn to provide an anthem, trample counters, and steady card draw. Once Beorn is established alongside three or more Bears, the deck leverages high-impact combat multipliers such as Unnatural Growth, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and Return of the Wildspeaker to overwhelm opponents with large, trampling attacks. Because the strategy is strictly combat-focused, it trades off interactive flexibility and stax capabilities in favor of linear creature pressure, raw stat compounding, and redundant beaters. The deck excels at generating board presence and card velocity through its commander, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and fast combo strategies due to a near-total absence of stack interaction and reactive board protection.
