Witherbloom Pestilence by user5637698

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Essence Brewer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dina, Essence Brewer helms a Golgari aristocrats deck whose primary plan is to turn every death into cards and life, then finish with blood-drain triggers. The commander's sacrifice trigger draws a card each turn, and its activated ability turns a big creature into life gain and +1/+1 counters. Secondary paths use Chatterfang + Pitiless Plunderer (with a free sacrifice outlet) to generate infinite tokens and death triggers, or Bolas's Citadel and Exsanguinate for burst damage. Dina, Soul Steeper in the 99 is a second life-drain commander who turns the deck's lifegain into opponent life loss, and the many drain creatures make her a true hidden commander.
