Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats build commanded by Teysa Karlov. Its core strategy revolves around creating a resilient sacrificial engine utilizing recurring fodder such as Reassembling Skeleton and token generators like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, sacrificing them through free outlets like Viscera Seer or Bartolomé del Presidio, and draining opponents with blood artists such as Zulaport Cutthroat and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. Teysa Karlov serves as a powerful force multiplier by doubling all death triggers and providing lifelink and vigilance to creature tokens. The deck features deep functional redundancy across all core aristocrat roles and backs its strategy with versatile Orzhov spot removal and board wipes. While it lacks stack countermagic and fast mana, it generates steady card advantage and life swings, grinding down the table before finishing with explosive payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or an Ashnod's Altar loop.
