Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Spellslinger Midrange deck centered on Lord of the Nazgûl. The core strategy focuses on accelerating into the 5-mana commander by Turn 5 and chaining cheap instant and sorcery spells to build a wide army of 3/3 black Wraith creature tokens with menace. Supporting this plan are 9 copies of Nazgûl, which buff the entire Wraith army whenever the Ring tempts you, alongside mass reanimation and mill subthemes. The deck controls the board using versatile black removal and blue counterspells, generating board presence incrementally with every spell cast. Win conditions stem primarily from overwhelming combat damage with menace Wraiths, culminating in a 9/9 stat boost once nine Wraiths are assembled. While resilient to targeted removal thanks to redundant Nazgûl and reanimation cards like Living Death, the deck remains vulnerable to repeated board wipes and relies on untapping with its token army over multiple turns.
