Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and spellslinger list commanded by Naban, Dean of Iteration. The primary strategy focuses on curving Naban into low-cost Wizard creatures that possess potent enter-the-battlefield abilities. Naban doubles each of these triggers, allowing cards like Aether Channeler, Cloudkin Seer, and Exclusion Mage to generate substantial card advantage and board control at low mana costs. The deck maintains table control through an efficient counterspell suite and targeted stun counters before pivoting into a decisive win condition. It closes games by establishing an evasive airborne army using Docent of Perfection // Final Iteration, Archetype of Imagination, or Wonder, frequently clearing the path with asymmetric board wipes such as Raise the Palisade and Cyclone Summoner. While the deck features outstanding card velocity and stack interaction, its lack of dedicated fast mana acceleration means it operates on a fair curve, requiring disciplined sequencing and protection to secure combat victories.
