Deck overview

This is a classic Grixis forced-draw burn deck helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The plan is to flood the table with extra card draw via Howling Mine effects, wheels, and X-draw spells, then convert every card opponents touch into life loss through Nekusar, Spiteful Visions, Phyrexian Tyranny, discard punishers like Megrim and Raiders' Wake, and hand-size payoffs such as Psychosis Crawler. Harmonic Prodigy and Krang, the All-Powerful multiply those triggers for explosive turns. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by attrition burn and occasional combat from pumped bodies. Nekusar is the premier engine-cheap enough to recast and central to the damage math-but the 99 carries enough independent punishers that the plan still functions without him. Interaction is dense and instant-speed heavy, letting the deck police threats while the burn clock ticks.
