Deck overview

This Selesnya deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice pursues a classic lifegain-populate strategy, aiming to generate enormous life totals and an overwhelming board of tokens. The primary game plan involves deploying early mana dorks and ramp spells to accelerate into Trostani and a supporting life-gain engine (Soul Warden, Prosperous Innkeeper). Each creature entering triggers life gain, which Trostani compounds, and populate spells duplicate the best token on board. The deck finisher is either Aetherflux Reservoir, a massive Storm Herd, or a combat step empowered by Blossoming Bogbeast or Archangel of Thune. Secondary wins include Halo Fountain's "untap fifteen" condition and commander damage from a boosted Trostani. The list succeeds through grinding inevitability, snowballing life and board presence until a haymaker closes the game.
