Ashling, Rekindled by Jicnon

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet big-spells deck is helmed by Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound, a two-faced commander that filters cards on the front side and generates two mana each turn on the back side-mana that can only be spent on spells with mana value 4 or greater. The deck is built to exploit that mana acceleration, packing dozens of high-CMC instants and sorceries that copy, steal, or cast spells for free. Primary win conditions include overwhelming the board with token copies (Clone Legion, Rite of Replication, Shark Typhoon, Ovika, Enigma Goliath), stealing opponents' permanents (Blatant Thievery, Mind's Dilation), and chaining free spells from effects like Etali, Primal Storm, Triple Triad, and One with the Multiverse. The deck has no compact infinite combo; it wins through incremental value and combat inevitability.
