Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Electro, Assaulting Battery. The strategy focuses on using Electro's static ability to bank unspent red mana across turns and phases while refunding mana whenever an instant or sorcery is cast. Early turns focus on establishing cheap cantrips, cost reducers like Artist's Talent, and damage amplifiers such as Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, or Guttersnipe. Once a mana reservoir or ritual engine like Mana Geyser or Storm-Kiln Artist is ready, the deck unleashes a decisive storm turn on Turn 6. Utilizing powerful graveyard recursion via Past in Flames, Underworld Breach, or Mizzix's Mastery, the deck chains multiple low-cost burn and draw spells to trigger lethal table-wide pinger damage or pump immense mana into a multi-target Comet Storm. While vulnerable to targeted creature removal and lacking enchantment interaction, the deck provides high explosive burst potential.
