B3 - Matthew 10:34 by fenton-magic

Format: Commander

Commander: Junji, the Midnight Sky

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-black reanimator and drain-control deck built around Junji, the Midnight Sky and a hidden commander in Kokusho, the Evening Star. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with self-mill and dredge, then repeatedly sacrifice and reanimate Kokusho and Junji to drain opponents and strip hands. Secondary paths use Plague Reaver and Scourge of Nel Toth as recursion beaters, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth plus Strands of Night plus Umbral Collar Zealot as a compact Kokusho loop that can kill the table once enough Swamps are available. Junji serves as an evasive blocker/attacker and a death-trigger engine; the deck's recursion density, not the commander itself, is the main plan.
