Deck overview

This Naya deck is commanded by Shalai and Hallar, turning +1/+1 counter placement into direct burn damage against opponents. Built around a dense core of counter doublers and aggressive beaters, the deck curves out rapidly using ramp such as Three Visits and Arcane Signet before establishing its commander on Turn 3 or 4. From there, threats like Kalonian Hydra, Bright-Palm, Soul Awakener, Sovereign Okinec Ahau, and Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor cause exponential counter growth, dealing massive chunks of damage simultaneously through combat and direct burn. The deck protects its proactive game plan using silence and ward pieces like Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk, Boromir, Warden of the Tower, and Innkeeper's Talent. While reliant on untapping with multiple permanents and lacking dense stack interaction, it presents a consistent Turn 5 critical onset and reliably closes games by Turn 7.
