Deck overview

The deck uses Winota, Joiner of Forces as a combat-based card-advantage engine. Cheap non-Humans attack first, then Winota, Joiner of Forces puts Humans from the top six cards of the library directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, Loyal Apprentice, Goblin Rabblemaster, Legion Warboss, and Vehicles increase the number of attackers and therefore the number of trigger attempts. Blade Historian, Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, Combat Celebrant, and Odric, Master Tactician turn that growing board into stronger combat steps. The deck usually assembles its first usable engine around turn 5. It has meaningful removal and several spell-limiting permanents, but its mana and protection are moderate. Its main weakness is that it lacks dependable access to Winota, Joiner of Forces and lacks a compact, deterministic finish. It can snowball quickly when unchecked, but it should be treated as a high-synergy combat deck rather than a cEDH list.
