Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck centers on Mikey & Leo, Chaos & Order, turning every +1/+1 counter placement into steady card draw. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana ramp and cheap counter enablers like Costume Closet, Forced Adaptation, or Ride the Shoopuf to draw an extra card each turn cycle. As the midgame develops, creatures like Good-Fortune Unicorn, Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11, and Mighty Mutanimals rapidly grow the board with scaling counters. The deck closes games through wide, evasive combat attacks enhanced by team buffs such as Righteous Charge, The Crystal's Chosen, and Rinoa Heartilly. A robust suite of instant-speed protection spells—including Restoration Magic and Saved by the Shell—shields key threats while triggering additional card draws. While it lacks fast mana and infinite combos, the deck reliably grinds out opponents through continuous card replenishment, resilient beatdown creatures, and flexible targeted removal.
