EDY DINA DECK 8/2 by user3842796

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Soul Steeper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a tuned Golgari Hulk-combo deck helmed by Dina, Soul Steeper, built to assemble a compact creature-based kill as fast as possible. The primary line runs Natural Order into Protean Hulk, then sacrifices Hulk - using Dina's own activated ability as the outlet - to pull Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Essence Warden (exactly 6 mana value), which loops infinite life gain into infinite drain through Dina's trigger. A full reanimation package (Entomb, Reanimate, Animate Dead, Body Snatcher, Activated Sleeper) offers a second route to Hulk, while Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of Smog and Exquisite Blood + Bloodthirsty Conqueror provide commander-independent wins. The deck is aggressively tutor-dense (13+ search effects) with a light stax shell (Root Maze, Vexing Bauble, Collector Ouphe, Defense Grid, Dosan the Falling Leaf) to slow faster pods while Dina's cheap cost and lifegain keep the combo on schedule.
